There are 243 different ways to win in the base game and 7,776 ways to win during the free spins. Although in truth, I’m not really that impressed by how many different ways to win there are. It’s a bit like these people who tell us they’ve walked 20,000 paces that day because their watch/mobile tells them they have.
It doesn’t mean anything. Just like what matters is surely how many kilometres you’ve walked on any given day, what matters on any mobile game is how much you win and how often.

The Symbols
Symbols include Anubis, Scarab, Tutankhamun, Cleopatra (somewhat inevitably) and Bastet. Bastet is our favourite because she’s basically a sort of Goddess in the form of a black cat. And you’ll know that I love cats because the mascot at my favourite Indian online casino LeoVegas is, of course, Leo the lion. Other cats I love are all Siamese cats, Simba from the Lion King and Shere Khan from the Jungle Book. Honourable mentions go to Cat Stevens and Cat Deeley.
There are also two Wild symbols. The standard yellow wild substitutes for all symbols except the Phoenix wild. The Phoenix wild also substitutes for all symbols but doesn’t appear in the Free Spins feature. Maybe it’s out at lunch every time the free spins come up or something.

Phoenix Rising Re-spins
If the Phoenix Wild appears as part of a winning combination, it will trigger the Phoenix Rising Re-Spins feature. The first thing that will happen is that the Wild will automatically burn through three random squares above the regular set of reels. That means that three extra symbols are in play, which of course means three extra symbols are available as part of an expanded reel layout to help you secure wins.
Each time you get another Phoenix Wild, it will burn through a further three holes. You’ll also notice that to the left of the reels there’s a column called Bonus with five squares to be filled. You’ll fill a square each time you get a Phoenix Wild and if you get five of them, you’ll activate the free spins.
But if you fail to secure a win with your re-spin, the Phoenix Rising Re-Spins feature will end straight away.
Free Spins
You’ll get 8 free spins and this is the bit where the reels in play change dramatically because the 3 reels now become 6.
