How to Play Super 6 in India
Among the popular variants available of baccarat, you will find Super 6 at several Indian casino websites. The rules are easy to follow and understand of this variant. What you will find especially interesting are the side bets and payout structure of this game.
This version of Baccarat can be played online, in comparison to Chemin de Fer which you only find on physical casinos.
Before you start, there are certain dealing rules you need to know. This game is played with a six-deck shoe. There are three kinds of bets, the banker’s also called Banco, the player’s, also known as Punto and Egalite which is also known as the Tie Bet.
When it comes to dealing and card values in Super 6 keep the following points in mind:
- 10s and face cards have zero value here;
- The ones less than ten in value are counted at their face value;
- Aces are considered at1 and the suits have no other roles here;
- Single digit values are considered; hence, if you get two cards that add up to a total of 15, you need to drop the left digit and consider only the right digit; so 15 would be considered as 5; same for a total of 25;
- Every hand has three cards and no fourth card is dealt out;
How to Play?
When you start a game after cards are dealt, the players need to bet on the Player, the Banker or the Tie.
- Both player and banker will get even money (1:1) in Super 6;
- If banker gains a 6 then the payout is 1:2;
- If there is a tie the payout is 8:1;
The goal of the game is to reach a total of 9 which is the magic winning number. If you are able to gain this with a hand of cards you have been dealt then you win. The dealer will give two cards initially to the player and then to the banker. There are three card rules that apply here and as per these, the third card is handed out.
Third Card Rules for the Player
After the first two cards are dealt, if either the banker or the player has a total of 8 or 9 among their card values then they call a Natural and that round or hand is completed in Super 6.
If you, as a player, see that you have a total of less than or equal to 5 among your cards then you can draw a third card. If you have not drawn a card and the banker’s hand is at 6 or more. If not, then the banker can draw a card. When you as a player take on the third card then the banker will take the third card as per the rules below.
Third-Card-Rule for Bank
|Bank’s Two Card Value||Player’s Third Card Value||Banker Draws Card or Not|
|2 or less||Irrelevant||Yes|
|Total is 3||Less than 8||yes|
|Total is 4||0,1,8 or 9||Yes|
|Total is 5||4,5,6 or 7||Yes|
|Total is 6||6 or 7||Yes|
|Total is 7||Irrelevant||Stands|
Once the third card rules are followed and cards are dealt with accordingly, the hand that comes closest to 9 wins.
Side Bet in Super 6
If the banker wins with a hand of 6, a side bet is offered as insurance in Super 6. The side bet is equivalent to you assuming that the banker will win with 6 as a score and side bet pays out 12:1 when the outcome is correct. If you wish to participate in the side bet, you need to wager in circle 6 which is found on the right-hand side of the main betting section.
Side Bet Dragon Bonus
This is another lucrative outcome that is offered at certain casino games online. Here a bonus amount is paid out when a hand is a Natural or the win is by a difference of 4 points at least. In this bet, you will start by paying even money and if there is a tie then there is a push applied on the bet.
If you win by a non-natural win of more than 4 points then the payout is determined by the margin of victory. For instance, if the difference in wins is 9 points then payout could be 30:1.
