Vera&John – a happy casino
Before I started reviewing Vera & Johns online casino I wanted to see if my gaming experience was similar to other customers. Unfortunately neither my neighbour or dog plays online casino so I could not ask any of them. I had to resort to askgamblers.com and see what other people were saying.
And it was not a happy sight, oh my.
I feel sorry for the customers reviewing and the support employees at Vera & John who are doing their best to fend off the angry mob. Luckily my experience was without troubles playing at Vera & John, but I was also born under a lucky star (that’s what my mom told me). However, the planets are not always aligned and most of the people complaining about these topics at Askgambler:

Normally I follow a certain “template” when I review internet casinos, but in this review, I will give some extra tender loving care to the topics mention above.
Issue 1: What’s up with the wager requirements?
Before we get going with the nitty gritty I just want to make one thing clear (and I know this might disappoint you since Indians loves casino bonus codes).
Vera & John does not use any bonus codes.
Now, let’s move on.
I decided to go through all the terms and conditions available on the website, including the privacy policy which ended up in total 4058 words.
Now I have all the facts so let’s get the Vera & John bonus conditions straight.
As mentioned by some complaints the wager requirements at x40. This means you must wager your bonus money 40 times before you can withdraw any winnings. I made a calculation of all the casinos reviewed at G2G and 45% has x40 or more as wager requirements, just FYI. I wouldn’t categories 40 as an unfair wagering requirement, it’s still ok.
What is important to point out is the turnover of your bonus starts only when you start playing for your bonus money. This means that real money games DO NOT count towards the turnover of your bonus.
This is not an extraordinary Clause in the T&C’s and something you can find at most of the leading Indian online casinos. Or in fact, I think this is standard among all Indian casinos such as Royal Panda and LeoVegas. There are some international online casinos (not licensed by MGA) where your real money is accounted in the playthrough requirements. But it’s important to say it out loud since I know this can confuse people.

Let’s move on to the next point: Selecting the wrong game to clear the welcome bonus.
There are two types of welcome offers within the online casino industry:
- Casino bonus – Receive some extra money to play slot machines
- Live Casino bonus – Receive some extra money to play Live Casino games such as Live Blackjack or Live Roulette
Vera & John only has a “Casino Bonus” which means you (should) wager it in online slot machines, otherwise, it’ll take you years to clear the requirements. Certain games contribute differently which you can see in the table below.

Only slot machines and video slot machines contribute 100%. If you choose any other games it will literally take you years to clear the bonus. If you are not a fan of slot machines, choose to opt out from the welcome bonus when you sign up or choose a casino with a Live Casino bonus.

Welcome bonus up to €100
Vera & John offers a welcome package which in total will reward you €100. In extra play money. The bonus is split up on two occurrences:
- Day 1 – Deposit €10 – €50 and get 100% extra money.
- Day 2 – Deposit €10 – €100 and get 50% extra money.
The procedure is standard among danish online casinos, however, the offer itself is quite small if you compare with other websites which also has a couple of free spins in the offer too. But that’s just my personal opinion.

Why?

Can I play on my mobile?
Yes, you can and personally, I think the mobile casino looks better than the computer version. In the computer all the game icons are so far spaced out, meanwhile, in the mobile, it makes much more sense.
The mobile slot portfolio has about 750 slots. There are a couple old IGT and Amaya slots which are still in Flash and therefore not compatible with iPhones, Android or Ipads.

Issue 3: I can’t make Withdrawals
Let’s start by reviewing the options, terms and conditions for withdrawing & depositing money.
The payment methods available are:

Listen to my words: Vera & John is a good casino, I have played on many, many, many others which are really bad. I will stick to this one and continue to build more coins in the loyalty shop and enjoy the big selection of mobile and video slot machines!
