3 Patti Sequence Rules
The 3 patti sequence rules are quite similar since it is based on the most popular card game in the world, poker.
The only difference is the fact that you base your hand on 3 cards instead of 5.
Let’s take a look at all the 3 patti hands available.
Complete 3 Patti Sequence List
Trail or Set
When you get a hand that is a trail or set it means you have three of a kind. This hand also goes by trio and counts as the highest sequence in 3 patti.
A pure sequence is a straight flush which consists of 3 consecutive cards in the same suit. The best pure sequence you can get in 3 patti is A-K-Q and the worst 4-3-2. The suit has no value so it doesn’t matter which suit you have as long as they are all the same.
A sequence is a straight hand and works in the same way as pure sequence but you don’t have to have the same suit. As long as the cards are in consecutive order it counts as a sequence.
3 patti color sequence is when you have a hand with cards of the same suit. No suit is stronger than another so you never have to pick one suit over another.
A teen patti hand with a pair is when you have 2 cards that have the same value. Two aces is the best pair you can have while a pair of 2s is the worst.
High card is exactly what it sounds like, just a high card. This is the worst hand you can have since it really isn’t a sequence. If you only have a high card most often it is better to just pack.
The Highest Sequence in 3 Patti
As mentioned a trail or set is the highest teen patti sequence but there is one trail that is better than all others. If you ever get it you can be 100% sure that you are going to win since there is no hand that can beat it.
I am talking about 3 aces! This is the number 1 winning sequence in 3 patti!
How do you know which sequence wins if you have the same?
As you might have figured out sometimes you might have the same teen patti sequence as someone else.
What you have to take into account is how the sequences are ordered in value.
Ace is always then the order goes down as usual.
If you have the same type of sequence as someone else it comes down to has the highest value sequence.
Let’s try two different examples to make it clear:
A-A-3 vs A-A-Q: Both players have a pair of aces but the player with Queen wins since it has a higher third card.
10-9-8 vs 9-8-7: Both players have a sequence but the player with the sequence starting with 10 has a higher value and wins.
